Recently I have been doing the mini crossword puzzle in the New York Times. There is a method to solving crossword puzzles.
Don’t guess. Complete the words you are sure of first and build from there. Watch for plurals, tense, and same parts of speech. Watch for abbreviations examples, acronyms, and short sentences. Think outside the box. Mediating requires many of the same techniques. Mediation especially requires thinking outside the box and creative solutions.
