When I was very young I did not want to drink milk. My grandmother got me to drink milk by using a ruby red depression glass.
I was encouraged to drink the milk from the special glass. Believe it or not it worked. When cleaning our my parent’s home, I not only found a few red glasses but also a few green glasses. The lesson from this story for divorce and mediation is that if you package something in the right container, people may accept the contents that they otherwise would have rejected.
